Pre- and Post-Treatment Care
Before the Treatment
- No special preparation is required.
After the Treatment (As shown on the poster)
- Keep dry: Do not let the treated area come into contact with water for the first 24 hours. If needed, you may gently clean the area using a sterile gauze soaked in normal saline.
- Apply medication: Apply the prescribed antibiotic ointment (TR/MPR) twice a day (morning and evening) until the scabs naturally fall off.
- Scar prevention: After the scabs fall off, apply the scar-reducing cream (RB) before bedtime until the marks completely fade.
- Do not pick: The treated areas will form scabs and fall off naturally within 7–14 days. Please avoid picking or scratching the scabs.
Treatment Steps
- Consultation (15 mins): Doctor’s assessment and consultation.
- Numbing (45 mins): Application of topical numbing cream. (Note: Local anesthetic injections are available if you are in a hurry, allowing for immediate treatment without waiting).
- Laser Procedure (15–90 mins): The laser process takes about 30 minutes on average, depending on the size and number of spots.
- Ointment Application (5 mins): Post-treatment soothing ointment application.
